About Without Walls (WOW)

For the past decade, the Playhouse has offered one or more WOW programs a year, plus its popular biennial Without Walls Festival that features hundreds of local, national and international artists engaging with audiences in vibrant, interactive experiences. You might find yourself getting down in an impromptu dance party, or interacting virtually with an artist in a Zoom chat, or taking a stroll through a lush botanical garden as your WOW experience unfolds. Full of diverse offerings, WOW shows have one thing in common – they are an invitation to rethink theatre in intriguing and playful experiences, whether on a beach, in a car, or even online!
