La Jolla Playhouse is seeking to fill the following positions:

Finance

Chief Financial Officer

Classification: This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position, eligible for a full array of benefits including health and life insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, paid time off (vacation, sick, holiday), and complimentary tickets to Playhouse performances
Reports to: Managing Director
Compensation: $160,000 – $190,000 annually

The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing the Playhouse’s financial planning and accounting, as well as providing the required data and analytical information for the overall successful financial management of the organization. The Chief Financial Officer ensures the Finance Department functions as a high-performing team, focused on supporting business needs across the entire organization. This position works closely with and reports to the Managing Director, providing data and analysis to assist in making responsible financial decisions for the organization.

Production

WOW Festival Assistant Production Manager

Classification: This is a full-time, seasonal, non-exempt (hourly) position
Reports to: WOW Festival Production & Operations Manager
Compensation: $25.00 per hour with a weekly guarantee of $1,000

The WOW Assistant Production Manager is responsible for supporting the WOW Production & Operations Manager in the production planning and management of La Jolla Playhouse’s annual Without Walls Festival. Strong candidates will possess a demonstrated ability in project management, as well as knowledge of theatre or event practices and equipment. The successful candidate is a project manager with a background in theatrical or event management and who is committed to the artistic vision and mission of the WOW Festival.
