Created, Choreographed and Performed by Jenn Freeman
Created, Choreographed and Directed by Sonya Tayeh
Composed and Performed by Holland Andrews
Is It Thursday Yet? invites you into the unique complexities of dancer/choreographer Jenn Freeman’s neurodivergent brain through a stunning tapestry of dance, live music, home video footage and audio narrations. This inventive work celebrates what it means to live a life on the spectrum.
Music and lyrics by Joe Iconis
Book by Joe Iconis and Gregory S. Moss
Directed by Christopher Ashley
Who was Hunter S. Thompson? He changed journalism. He defined counterculture. Equal parts philosopher, clown and genius, he was armed and dangerous with a typewriter as his preferred weapon. Set to an anarchic and tuneful score, this musical is a rock ‘n’ roll portrait of an artist seeking greatness and coming to terms with his own legacy.
Written by Lisa Sanaye Dring
Directed by Ralph B. Peña
A co-production with Ma-Yi Theater Company
Entrenched in an elite sumo training facility in Tokyo, six men practice, eat, love, play and ultimately fight. This tenderly drawn and unique work about Akio, the ambitious newcomer, and his fellow wrestlers features live taiko drumming.
By Joe DiPietro
Adapted from the novel by Sinclair Lewis
Directed by Christopher Ashley
Award-winning star Matthew Broderick and Tony Award-winning playwright Joe DiPietro (Diana, Memphis) join forces with our own Christopher Ashley for this comedic, unmissable theatrical event based on a literary classic.

With additional contributions by Idina Menzel
Directed by Tina Landau

‘First Look’ performances are the first week of the run of each show prior to opening night (with some exceptions). First Look tickets are lower price and offer the opportunity to experience the show while the creative team are still polishing and making changes. This is a vital element of a show’s evolution, allowing the creative team to step back and see the show through the eyes and experience of the audience. Playhouse staff speak to the audience briefly before the show starts, and the creative team may be seated near you taking notes.
The health and safety of audiences, artists, staff, volunteers and our community are our highest priority. Please read our most current safety policy here.
Subscribers select the seating area when you order. If you have specific requests, please add them to the notes section within the purchase path when booking online, or the relevant section on your invoice form.
We encourage you to order swiftly to ensure you get the pick of the best seats – orders are processed in order of receipt.
