Tampons, Dead Dogs and Other Disposable Things is a new play originally developed through the Veterans Playwriting Workshop at La Jolla Playhouse. It received the 2019 Arts in the Armed Forces Bridge Award and a professional reading at The Public Theater in New York City.
Tampons, Dead Dogs and Other Disposable Things follows Jen as she takes a journey through the mercurial mountains of Anchorage, Alaska following a personal traumatic event. Jen’s voyage pushes her to the limits of sanity, healing and forgiveness in order to find the pieces of herself and make them whole again.
