Tricksters. We all know them. We all have them in our lives. Sometimes we are them. Native stories love Tricksters. They come in many shapes, sizes, and forms. Tricksters are the ultimate disrupters: causing chaos, teaching lessons, or just having fun at our expense. These plays examine Tricksters in their traditional form, but also in the modern roles they play today. Can you spot the trickster? Perhaps they are talking to you.
Featuring plays by Lee Cataluna (Native Hawaiian), Montana Cypress (Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida), Alan Kilpatrick (Cherokee), Kat Laveaux (Cheyenne River Sioux), Harrison Lowe (Navajo), and Beth Piatote (Nez Perce).
