La Jolla Playhouse is excited to announce two new fellowship positions, a BIPOC Directing Fellow and a BIPOC Stage Management Fellow. La Jolla Playhouse is committed to growing the next generation of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) theatre-makers. These Fellowship opportunities are among numerous commitments outlined in our Anti-Racism Action Plan through which the Playhouse strives to reshape our organization and make a meaningful contribution to the national theatre landscape.
The application deadline has passed. Finalists will be interviewed in September 2022. Fellows will be selected October 1, 2022, with the position beginning January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2024.
