The Festival Village will be the vibrant cultural and artistic center of the WoW Festival. Located in the La Jolla Playhouse Theatre District, festival-goers can enjoy hours in the Village, taking in free theatre and art performances, artist chats, live music, food truck cuisine and local craft beers. A full schedule of programming, ample seating and various dining options will ensure it will be the perfect place to start and close your Festival experience.
The WoW Festival will kick in to full swing on Thursday night from 7:00 – 10:00 pm in the Village with the Museum of Contemporary Art’s signature event, TNT (Thursday Night Thing) featuring participatory art experiences, live music presented by 91X and tasty cocktails.
Throughout the Festival, the Village will offer free, non-ticked performances presented by La Jolla Playhouse and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. In between shows, stop by the Artist Salon to mingle with Festival artists and engage in conversation about the piece you just saw. Or, sit for a spell in the Beer Garden to enjoy lunch from a local food truck and listen to live music.
No matter what your plan – save time to relax in the Village and immerse yourself in the ever-changing, dynamic scene that is the WoW Festival.
