Spectrum: Society of Wonder

Spectrum: Society of Wonder by Animal Cracker Conspiracy

 •  •  •  •

Four celestial entities have arrived to confront a mysterious force threatening to consume the very fabric of our existence. Using ancient star lore, the visitors conjure mythological beings to regenerate the Earth and guide humanity towards a luminous existence. Enlivened by a San Diego Symphony string quartet, this full-on puppetry spectacle from San Diego-based Animal Cracker Conspiracy channels the silly, supernatural and sublime, inviting us to appreciate the universe and our place in it.

Featuring giant and stilt puppets designed and built by Animal Cracker Conspiracy, including two brand new lantern puppets made in a workshop facilitated by Andrew Kim, and 100 lanterns made by audience members. To make a lantern, arrive an hour before the performance start time at Revelle Plaza and be part of the light show! Lantern making is a first come, first served free activity.

WOW Festival proudly presents this “First Look” project that gives you the opportunity to be part of the very first audiences. Read more here.
