Letters to Home

Moving to a new home often involves us packing our most precious items into a slew of cardboard boxes and reminiscing on fond memories as we prepare to transport our belongings to a new location. Join us as we attempt to navigate the in-between stage of life where we’re forced to choose what to take with us and choose what to leave behind. We invite you to build, decorate, and create the space to make it your own.

WOW Festival proudly presents this “First Look” project that gives you the opportunity to be part of the very first audiences. Read more here.

This show is in high demand! If maximum capacity has been reached, you will see “tickets are not currently available” when you click to RSVP. Some spaces may be released later, so we encourage you to check back here, and follow us on Instagram where we post updates on our Stories.

If you reserved tickets and can no longer attend, please let us know in advance so someone else can enjoy this experience. Contact Patron Services at (858) 550-1010 or [email protected].

UC San Diego Department of Theatre and Dance trains the next generation of artists and scholars who will reimagine the way we interpret our world through the performing arts. We cultivate bold, highly talented artists capable of thriving in a variety of professional contexts. Our faculty and students represent a wide range of theatrical and dance traditions and methodologies. We encourage diversity to create work that speaks to our historical moment. We foster a community in which artists and scholars can realize their full potential.

Production is at the core of our training program. It is the laboratory where we experiment, energize, and explore. Actors, choreographers, directors, designers, playwrights, dramaturgs and stage managers develop their skills by working on full-scale productions while being mentored by distinguished artists. Our goal is to inspire artists and scholars with a depth of knowledge and a breadth of practice who will become leaders in the field.
