WORKSHOP: Expeditionary Art-Making: Co-Imagining the Real World with Control Group Productions

This workshop introduces Control Group’s expeditionary art-making practice, which takes audiences on literal journeys through real-world sites that we integrate into the imagined worlds of our work. Using THE END‘s apocalypse-ready school bus, we’ll leave the festival area and travel to a nearby open space, where we’ll explore Control Group’s dance-theatre-based devising practice, creating and combining performance scenes in the vehicle and on the site.

This workshop is available to all experience and mobility levels. Participants should be ready to move in the outdoors. Closed-toed shoes, water, sun protection, and comfortable clothing are recommended.
