MOXIE Begins Residency at La Jolla Playhouse

La Jolla Playhouse designed the Resident Theatre Program to address the lack of available, affordable performance spaces for the many vibrant theatre companies in San Diego. The Playhouse hosted Mo’olelo Performing Arts Company in the inaugural season of the program and is now proud to welcome MOXIE Theatre as the resident company for the 2009/2010 season.

MOXIE Theatre is a professional non-profit theatre founded by the critically-acclaimed group of performers and directors: Jo Anne Glover, Liv Kellgren, Delicia Turner Sonnenberg and Jennifer Eve Thorn. Fans of this gutsy company know that whether addressing challenging subject matter or breaking new ground in storytelling, each production will embody the term “moxie”!
