It's hard to be a righteous man in a corrupt world. Take a walk on the dark side as the "Underground Man" decides to walk away from it all in this searing and modern adaptation of Dostoevsky's masterpiece.

Having resigned his position as a civil servant to live in isolation, the Underground Man holes up in a squalid traffic office cluttered with discarded equipment and wet snow. Obsessively reliving old wounds and spurning any chance at affection, the Man begins a descent into madness that is at times heartbreakingly funny, at times disquieting, but always unforgettable.

Contains nudity, sexual situations, violence and strong language.
